Our Story
Real pearls shouldn’t require a special occasion.
I grew up watching my mom, my aunt, and my grandmother wear pearls, not just for weddings or celebrations, but for Saturday errands, lunches out, and ordinary days that needed no excuse. Pearls were simply part of how the women I admired moved through the world.
My first pair came from my mother in my twenties. I still wear them today.
For most of my career, I worked in corporate tech and was usually the one who showed up dressed in heels, polished details, and pearls. Then I became a mother, and for a while, the version of me who cared how she showed up went quiet.
What brought her back was simple: one pair of pearl studs.
No full outfit. No occasion. Just something beautiful, real, and familiar that reminded me I was still in there.
That’s why I built Deluce, named for light.
To create pearl jewelry for anyone who wants elegance woven into real life, not saved for someday. For the boardroom, the school pickup, the dinner out, and the Tuesday that needs no reason at all.
Every piece is made with real freshwater pearls, hand-selected through sourcing relationships my family has cultivated in Asia over decades. No synthetic substitutes. No unnecessary middlemen. No inflated luxury markups. Just exceptional pearls, thoughtfully designed, and priced honestly.
Pearls are the only gemstone created by a living creature, formed when something vulnerable is protected, layer by layer, until it becomes luminous.
I thought about that often while building this brand.
Deluce ships from the Pacific Northwest. Every order is packed by hand and arrives gift-ready.
This is the real thing.
